What better way to celebrate the last Fiasco of the year, than on Guy Fawkes night with one of the most explosive DJs in the industry: Miss Honey Dijon!

According to DJ Magazine, Miss Honey Dijon has been unofficially crowned as Derrick Carter’s favourite DJ… and it’s not hard to figure out why if you’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing her spin!
Something happens when Miss Honey walks in the room… it’s all eyes on her. She brings with her an energy and unique style that is all her own.
Based in New York, Miss Honey’s style and phenomenal DJ skills make her one of the most sought after DJs in the underground house scene.

ALI-OOP:
Ali-oop is a founding member of the Fiasco Crew. He has been involved in our events from the start and has graced the Fiasco decks 4 times in the last 12 months, before jetting off for a summer in Ibiza. Whilst there he had the pleasure of playing at some of the coolest clubs and bars on the island, including the worlds biggest club, Privilege. Not to mention holding down a weekly spot at the prestigious Ibiza Rocks Hotel. Now, he returns home to rock the Fiasco crowd in true Ali-oop style!

This October we’re proud to present the one and only Marko Milicevic, aka Gramophonedzie!!!
Marko has been producing as Gramophonedzie for the last 4 years. Under this alias, he has signed tracks to a range of independent labels such as Guesthouse, Yazuka, Gotta Keep Faith, DiskoZoo, Oxyd and Shak Digital. The ‘Swinging With The Fishes EP’ that he signed to Guesthouse in 2009 featured ‘Why Don’t You’ – a jackin’ house track that samples Peggy Lee’s swing standard ‘Why Don’t You Do Right’.

‘Why Don’t You’ went on to be one of the biggest club records of 2009 and received widespread club support from the likes of Erick Morillo and Steve Angello to Dennis Ferrer and Louie Vega. It also received major radio support right across Europe with Giles Peterson (Radio 1) naming it his track of 2009. Now signed to Postiva, ‘Why Don’t You’ recently hit #12 in the UK Sales Chart on its first week of release and remained in the Top 20 for several weeks.

Marko has also put the magic Gramophonedzie remix touch to a number of underground house favourites including DJ Sneak, Smokingroove, Vernon and DaCosta, Arco, Combined and Sonny Fodera.

After the awesome performance from Tommy Largo at August’s Fiasco, the bar is set high for the September guests. We don’t see it being much of a problem though, as the long awaited Fiasco debut of Mr Phil Weeks has finally arrived!

Yes Phil will be in the house for the headline slot and the word on the street is he is going to show Fiasco what it’s all about!

DJ/producer Phil Weeks is a house music purist. His mixing is old school Chicago with a nu-school French flare going from the deepest house to the techiest. His production sounds like it could have been released in the 90’s partly because he uses the same gear – 808’s, 909’s, 606’s, even vintage keys. He prefers vinyl, likes his mixes dirty, and knows how to rock a crowd with a heavy hitting bass line.

Also on the bill this month is one of Fiasco first ever international guests, Jason Pelletier.  Ottawa based Jason made his Fiasco debut back in July 2008 and is itching to get back over here. He has over a decade of experience behind the decks and has a busy DJ schedule back home, allowing him to tour all over Canada on a regular basis. He also hold down two residencies at “Spins & Needles” and “Stay House”.

As many of you may know, the HAWT Music team in California is one of the biggest movements in the business and are driving the underground house scene forward with everything they do. Not only are they releasing tracks on their hugely successful label HAWT Music and throwing wicked parties across three cities, San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles, but they are also the guys behind one of the biggest and most respected podcasts in the industry: the Hawtcast!

For almost 2 years they’ve dropped a new mix from the underground house scene’s hottest DJs and producers each week and this time round it’s Fiasco’s turn to get in on that action. This week sees the Hawtcast reach its 88th release and with it comes a mix recorded live by our resident Ed Marco, at Fiasco’s Summer Resident Party at the start of July.

We hope you enjoy Ed’s mix and want to send out a huge thanks to all the guys at Hawt for getting us involved. Big Love to Hawt from all the Fiasco Crew!

Every month the Fiasco decks are graced by some of the biggest names in the worlds underground house scene.   As a thank you to all the regulars who come down to be part of the party month on month, we are putting on a residents night at our intimate home in the Bacchus basement.

This will be the first residents party since December 2008 so expect an extra special event!

Joining Ed Marco this month are Fiasco crew members Pete Baker, The Steph and Dan Harrison.

On the 30th of May, Fiasco fans will meet at Bacchus at 4pm for an hour of house grooves before being collected at 5pm and taken to this years secret location for 5 hours of partying. After which, we will all be picked up and dropped off back at Bacchus for a further 4 hour club party over two floors!

 The venues in 2008 & 2009 were both jaw-droppingly good, but this is definitely the best yet, plus we’ve also got our biggest line up ever!!
